About Us

Meet The Smile Rangers, A Dedicated & Caring Team

We are parents, pediatric dental professionals, and members of the Gold River community. Our highly trained, experienced, and caring team offer the highest standards of professional and individual dental care, and strive every day to deliver the very best results possible.

Nothing gives us greater joy than transforming an anxious child into a child who cares for his/her teeth and mouth, and loves going to the dentist. We prioritize preventative care, and work hard to establish lasting relationships with our young patients and their parents. Meet The team:

Meet Dr. Scott

Amanda, Lead RDA

Amanda has more than 12 years of experience in pediatric dentistry. Her communication and multitasking skills influence our back office team to reach daily safety goals. She finds it very rewarding to be a part of a Child’s smile journey. Watching her patients improve their oral health habits encourages her to continue working in the field. 

In her spare time, she enjoys camping with her husband and their two girls. She loves shopping, and a nice cup of starbucks coffee!

Tonya, RDA

Tonya has been in the dental field over 12 years. From office administrator to back office assistant. Working with Children has become her most favorite fragment of the field. She believes a positive and fun environment brings success to each child’s dental visit. 

Born and raised in Sacramento, Tonya enjoys meeting locals, roller skating, and out-door activities in the area. In the summertime, she enjoys boating with her husband and four boys! 

 

Kelly - RDA
Kelly has 14 years of experience in pediatric dentistry. Encouraging patients is part of her daily routine and it’s something she truly enjoys. She strongly believes that taking the time to educate through “show and tell” techniques, helps young patients cope with any anxiety they may experience at the dental chair. This method works to build trust with her patients, understanding them better transitions into a fun and easy visit. 
 
Married for 23 years, she is happy as can be with her husband and two kids. In her spare time she loves to cook for her family and friends. She enjoys camping, walking her dog and taking a fun summer vacation every year.

Irma, Patient Care Coordinator

Irma brings 15 years of expertise in Pediatric Dentistry. From Treatment/Insurance benefit Coordinator to digital & social media marketing and Community Outreach.  

She takes pride in promoting oral health education to Families of young Children and adolescents. The earlier good oral health habits are established, the greater the impact. She enjoys engaging with our young patients, praising and using positive reinforcements. This builds trust and minimizes fear and anxiety in Children. 

She is a Soccer Fanatic, bilingual in Spanish and enjoys traveling to new places with her husband and their two kids.

Tatyana, Office Manager

Tatyana is a Registered Dental Assistant, and a graduate of Sacramento State University. She has been in dentistry for over 20 years. She is bilingual in Russian, a Certified Dental Coder and Certified Dental Billing Specialist. She enjoys taking pilates, strength and weight training classes.  She loves the outdoors, hiking and relaxing during her free time.

Veronika - RDA
Veronika has been a dental assistant for three years. Her enthusiasm and active interest in Dentistry grows every day. She likes learning new ways to better treat young patients and assist in making them feel safe and at ease during treatment. She is currently going through a RDAEF2 program, continuing her education.
 
She is bilingual in Russian and often assists the Doctor with translating. In her spare time she plays Volleyball, enjoys running and spending time with her husband. 
Teresa, Front Office

Teresa is our newest smile ranger. She is bilingual in Spanish and got into Dentistry seeking new challenges and opportunities. She enjoys working with our team and learning different ways to better serve our patients through her customer service skills. Teresa is recently married. She is enjoying family life and traveling with her husband to new places. They enjoy reading, wine tasting, and of course watching youtube and tik-tok videos together.
