The American Association of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children see a dentist within six months after their first tooth erupts, or before the first birthday. This visit provides a great opportunity to ask your dentist whether your child’s oral health is the best it can be, and to learn a few tips and tricks to care for your child’s teeth and mouth!
Pediatric dentists generally agree that children should have at least two dental check-ups each year, starting no later than the child’s first birthday, or as soon as the first tooth erupts.
Good dental care and oral hygiene for teenagers starts with brushing your kids’ teeth twice a day and visiting the dentist regularly from around their first birthday.
